The Blue Dahlia is a worthwhile read for fans of noir and a mandatory one for Ray Chandler enthusiasts. Curiously, the best thing about this book is the introduction written by John Houseman. It's highly revealing and a bit shocking. Bottom line: Highly recommended/5(3).
